8th Grade Lady Wildcats Basketball

Congratulations to the 8^th grade Lady Wildcats who won the Yellow Jacket Invitational Tournament on Saturday!  They won 3 straight games in 2 days to claim this championship.  Congratulations to the girls and Coach Mew on a wonderful win. 

Ladies Soccer Try-outs

South Pointe High School Ladies Soccer tryouts will be held Monday, February 2nd at 4PM on the soccer fields. Any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in playing need to be in attendance. If you are new to the sport or a seasoned player we would love to see you tryout. Contact Coach Rainey at South Pointe with any questions you may have.

8th Grade Class Picture

The eighth grade class picture will be taken on January 21st.  We will take the picture during our first class period.  Fall sports, clubs, band, and chorus pictures will also be taken this day as well.

Softball Interest Meeting

There will be a brief meeting for 7th and 8th grade girls who are interested in playing softball this year.  It will be at 8:15 am in the gym on Thursday, January 8th.  

Semester Exams

Semester Exams will be held next week. Please see the schedule below so that you will be prepared each day for the correct exam.

Monday, January 12th:  Continuing Spanish Exam

Tuesday, January 13th:  Core 1 and 3 Exams

Wednesday, January 14th:  Core 2 and 4 Exams

Reminder that these exams will count 20% of your semester grade unless you are taking a class with an EOC (English I and Algebra I).  If you are taking an EOC class then your teacher will explain to you how the exam grade will be averaged in.

In-School Basketball Game

Monday, January 12th Saluda Trail will host Sullivan in basketball at 2 p.m.  Students are invited to attend this game during the school day.  In order to attend, the students will need to have all missing assignments turned in and will need to pay $3 (Non-Refundable).  Students with a Wildcat Card will be able to use the Wildcat Card to gain entrance into the game.  Tickets to the game will be sold during lunch this week.  The last day to purchase the tickets will be Monday prior to the end of lunch.  Also, students will have the opportunity to purchase a drink and chips at the door.  The drinks and chips will cost $1 a piece.  Please have correct change with you in order to purchase items.
