At 3:30 this afternoon, Ms. Campbell received an early Christmas present: She was named the S. C.
Middle Level Principal of the Year at a surprise reception in the school’s
media center. Molly Spearman, Executive Director of the S. C. Assn. of School
Administrators and newly elected S. C. Superintendent of Schools, made the
announcement. Brenda, who’s been the principal at Saluda Trail for 10 years,
will now become the state’s nominee for the National Middle Level Principal of
the Year.
