STMS Cheerleades receive $500 Grant

Coach White and Mrs. Dantzler are proud to announce that the STMS Cheerleaders have been approved for a $500 grant from the Rock Hill Youth Council. The grant is for one of our community service projects:  Wildcats Creating Crafts & Memories with local seniors.

The cheerleaders have adopted the senior citizens in Willowbook Crossing Senior Residence. The residence there have a craft room that only consists of a few jigsaw puzzles. The $500 grant will be used to purchase crafts for the residence and the cheerleaders will be teaching them some new crafts!

STMS Cheer Captain Carly Spikes did an OUTSTANDING job presenting the grant proposal to the council.

We have received notification that a check will be made out to Saluda Trail Middle School for the cheerleaders from the Foundation for the Carolinas.
We look forward to creating crafts and wonderful memories.

Way to Go WILDCATS!
