8th Grade- Schedules and parent information pick-up!

On August 6th, all 8th graders and their parents are invited to come to school between 8 -10 a.m. as well as 3 - 5 p.m. in order to:

- Fill out health/emergency cards
- Pay Athletic Fees ($60) if your child plays any sport they are required to pay a 1-time fee
- Pay DAPP fee ($50) in order to take iPad home during the school year
- Provide Proof of Residency (will need a utility bill in parent's name or a lease/rental agreement)
- Parent iPad Orientation and Refresher course (everyone must do one or the other)

After completing all relevant items above, your new student schedule will be provided.

Rock Hill School District Volunteer Award Luncheon

Rock Hill School District recognized their volunteers from this past school year today during a luncheon.  Mr. Miller was recognized from Saluda Trail for his continued volunteer hours to our Wildcats.  Mr. Miller spent his time in Dr. Marshall's 7th grade ELA classes last year and he will be volunteering again this coming school year.  He will work with Dr. Marshall's classes again and he will also continue to work with the 8th graders as well.  Mr. Miller, thanks for your hard work and dedication to our Wildcats!

The Governor's School for Science and Mathematics...



The Governor's School for Science and Mathematics is conducting their annual iTEAMS summer camp this week here at Saluda Trail. The camp started in collaboration with Google. iTEAMS is the Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship Among Middle Schoolers summer experience. The camp is designed to inspire students to pursue careers in the fields of computer science, technology and entrepreneurship through hands-on, team-based projects. Seasonal Football Conditioning

Football conditioning will begin July 14th at 6:00 p.m. at Saluda Trail Middle School.  Conditioning will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:15 p.m.  Official practice will not start until the beginning of the sport's season.
