Football Wrap-Up

8th Grade Coaches Final Thoughts of the Season:

Last season we had a 2-6 record with this same group of kids.  This season we finished up 7-1!!! We scored 280 points, and only gave up 112.  M. Whitlock, D. McClinton, A. Foxx, and I. Ross lead the way in terms of scoring on offense.  The true leaders on the field were our offensive lineman: J. Chappell, W. Coleman, C. Benson, D. Cooper, T. Russell, J. Stinson, and D. Jamison lead the charge up front!  On defense: B. Camps, M. Whitlock, D. Davis, S. White, D. McClinton, J. Heath, J. Mahoney, K. Currence, J. Stevenson, and T. Foster made big plays all season!  I have to mention our two lady kickers of course: C. Reeves and H. Benitez.
