Engineers Week!

To celebrate Engineers Week, Saluda Trail Middle School had Verizon Wireless Performance Engineers doing presentations all day to Team 8.3.  The students were acting like Design Engineers with a task of designing cell phone coverage in Rock Hill, SC to cover the most population.   They had to ensure that the hospital and the VIP’s house were covered as well.   They were given a budget of $1 million or less and could use a maximum of 7 cell phone towers. The team of students that covered the most population under budget earned an iTunes gift card, donated by the engineers.
