The Disappearing Frog Project is now on display
at the Community Performance Center on East Main Street in downtown Rock
Hill. Students researched endangered frogs and created artwork to reflect
what they learned. Each grade level used a different process to create
their piece. The artwork will be sold to raise funds for the Amphibian Survival
Alliance (ASA). The exhibition is open from today until April 25 as part
of Come-See-Me. Saluda Trail has 107 pieces of artwork in the exhibit. There
will be an opening reception at the Community Performance Center Saturday April
18 beginning at 6:00 pm. Robin Moore a noted Conservation Photographer and
author will speak at the reception. Moore's work has appeared in National
Geographic as well as many other conservation and wildlife magazines.
